Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Desktop Support Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Desktop Support Supervisor will manage the desktop support team and ensure the smooth operation of all IT-related functions within the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage the desktop support team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide advanced technical support to staff, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to desktop systems, software, and hardware.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and software to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Manage and execute IT projects related to desktop support, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Implement and enforce security protocols to protect the organization's information systems from unauthorized access and potential threats.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of desktop systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Oversee the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring all tickets are logged, prioritized, and resolved in alignment with the defined SLA. Provide regular reports on metrics to executives.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT support. With some experience with managing teams or working as a senior escalation resource in smaller teams.
• Proficiency in Windows, Apple iOS operating systems.
• Proficiency in enterprise SaaS solutions such as Office 365 and Okta. Experience with construction industry application suites is a plus.
• Understanding of ITSM processes and managing them in an organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues.
• Experience in managing IT projects, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with diverse teams and foster positive relationships.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are preferred.
