As a Design and Specification Specialist, you will champion Waterplay products within the design community and embed our specifications into projects from early concept through to construction.
You will build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, design firms, and municipal decision-makers, serving as a trusted design partner who brings insight, creativity, and expertise to every collaboration. You’ll lead engaging presentations, product launches, CEU sessions, and design charrettes that inspire innovative project solutions, while developing detailed product specifications and design packages that drive successful bids and project outcomes.
- Drive Revenue by securing Waterplay specifications into project designs
- Cultivate and grow new and existing design firm relationships through regular business development outreach
- Review plan sets and make recommendations for product specifications to designers
- Develop feature/park layouts and project designs for design firms
- Maintain CRM data relating to accounts and opportunities
- 3-5 years field sales and/or design experience
- Strong proficiency in French (written and verbal) preferred
- Exceptional relationship-building and presentation skills
- Experience administering complex business-to-business sales processes
- Exceptional computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system
- Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent experience required
- Valid driver’s license, clear driver’s abstract, reliable vehicle, and a valid passport are required
- This is a remote role, open to applicants in Ontario or Quebec
- This position works Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
- This position requires travel throughout Eastern Canada and the United States

- A competitive annual salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 (with the possibility of a yearly bonus)
