We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design and Drafting Manager with expertise in managing bills of material (BOM), CAD team members and work, and associated documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in all aspects of configuration and definition management. This role involves hands-on experience with Creo, Windchill PLM/PDM systems, and direct management of Engineering Change Requests and Notices (ECRNs).
1. CAD Management for Gas Turbine design and manufacturing:
- Lead and coordinate CAD activities related to gas turbines and rotating equipment both part definition and manufacturing support for local team.
- Utilize Creo, SolidWorks and Windchill PLM/PDM to create, modify, and manage models and drawings.
- Ensure that CAD designs adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Critical role in creating, reviewing, managing, and executing NCRs/ECRNs.
- Work closely with engineering teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on BOMs and designs.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Supply chain management team to ensure cut in is acceptable.
- Implement approved changes and update documentation accordingly.
- Ensure that BOMs align with engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update BOMs based on design changes and engineering revisions.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other relevant departments.
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams to resolve configuration-related issues.
- Experience in configuration and CAD management.
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
