Job Summary
The Departmental Assistant is responsible to management or others for performing duties and staff assignments related to carrying out functions of the department. Performs studies, projects, and assignments as directed by management. Prepares reports; recommends courses of action; and compiles, or assists in compiling, operation data related to special studies, programs, and projects. Assists in directing and/or coordinating the work of others as assigned.
Job Description* Perform studies, projects, and assignments of general scope and/or specifically assigned duties relative to carrying out the functions of the department.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education:* High school diploma or GED. Associate's degree in business is preferred.

(Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
