Job Description:
The Demand Analyst II is a mid-level role responsible for leading advanced demand planning and forecasting activities to optimize inventory, reduce supply chain risk, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of ERP and forecasting tools, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to align supply with actual demand.
Essential Duties:
•Lead the analysis of historical consumption data to identify patterns, seasonality, and demand shifts across multiple product lines.
•Design and maintain sophisticated forecasting models using statistical methods, ERP data, and business intelligence tools.
•Partner with procurement, operations, finance, and warehousing teams to develop accurate demand plans and align inventory strategies with business objectives.
•Monitor and refine ERP system demand planning parameters, including reorder points, lead times, and safety stock settings.
•Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as stockouts, excess inventory, or demand volatility.
•Provide regular reporting and data visualizations to communicate demand insights, forecast accuracy, and improvement opportunities.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to standardize forecasting practices, improve master data integrity, and streamline S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes.
•Mentor junior analysts and support training efforts for demand planning tools and best practices.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives across demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain analytics.

Education:
Required:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Required:
•8-10 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
•Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
•Analyze supply chain data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics.
•Identify and mitigate risks to prevent supply chain disruptions.
•Track and report key performance metrics, such as cost savings and supplier reliability.
•Manage multiple supply chain projects and meet deadlines effectively.
•Make informed decisions based on data and market insights.
