Directs, supervises and controls oil delivery scheduling, dispatching, and communication functions to effect economical and efficient utilization of delivery vehicles by performing the following duties.
+ Accuracy is necessary for all tasks
+ Sets schedules and routes and assigns drivers and vehicles.
+ Reviews, analyzes and maintains customer "K" factors according to the degree day system.
+ Works with the managers to improve driver productivity, morale, and the overall culture of the driver force.
+ Optimization of productivity goals/measures to meet targeted expense levels.
+ Works with the managers to ensure proper execution of the company’s vehicle maintenance program.
+ Develop, review, and analyze the appropriate reports to measure driver productivity
+ Interacts with Service, Credit, Sales and Customer Service departments to ensure the highest quality service to our customers.
+ Dependability is of the utmost importance. We need someone flexible that will report for work whenever scheduled, and is able to work weekends. .
+ Provide Back up to Customer Service team when situation requires
+ Mindset to use technology when available
+ May be required to interpret and apply labor contract language if applicable.
+ Able to apply training to appropriate work responsibilities (ex. Spill response)
Indirect supervision of 10-15 Drivers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
+ Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
+ Ability to effectively respond to questions from other departments, customers, and managers.
+ Basic math skills
+ Computer Skills. Comfortable in Windows environment, (MS Office Suite, MS Outlook) and Web navigation. Ability to comprehend and use software applications (ex. ADDS Energy).
+ Effective and clear communication
+ Read and comprehend policy manuals and contracts and apply policy and procedures as written and/or instructed.
+ Valid motor vehicle driver’s license
