The Data Systems Engineer is responsible for managing and enhancing Liberty’s maintenance and manufacturing-related data systems and tools, including Power BI dashboards, to support efficient operations and data-driven decision-making across internal teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards.

- Maintains and manages databases of maintenance and manufacturing information.
- Develops expertise in Fiix and Oracle systems to effectively support, analyze, and enhance maintenance and manufacturing workflows and data processes.
- Oversees the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of Power BI dashboards to ensure accurate, insightful, and user-friendly reporting.
- Writes and optimizes SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline or automate reporting processes and improve dashboard functionality.
- Drives continual improvement of data systems and software tools to enhance usability, accuracy, and performance.
- Analyzes business needs and operational challenges from a technology perspective; designs and implements practical data solutions.
- Conducts testing, implementation, and ongoing support of new and existing tools.
- Collaborates with various Liberty teams to identify where data can solve problems, close gaps, or improve processes.
- Ensures ongoing maintenance, integrity, and accessibility of systems, databases, and dashboards.
- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.
- Occasional travel required to gain firsthand understanding of maintenance processes and identify data-driven opportunities to support business needs.
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
