Data Scientist (Leak Detection Modeling)

What You'll Do:

- Create, parameterize, and validate leak detection models as core deliverables.

- Use existing codebases to gather datasets, perform analyses, and generate visualizations and reports.

- Apply critical and analytical thinking to identify data issues that could affect model development and performance.

- Train models, tune parameters, and ensure robustness in production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality modeling results.

- Identify process and technology gaps and contribute to defining requirements for improvements.

- Participate in testing the modeling codebase, documenting bugs and feature requests in DevOps (change tracking) systems.

- Prepare written reports, analyses, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities

- Identify 3-5 strong requirements to put here

Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (STEM field preferred) or equivalent experience.

- Proven proficiency in Python and machine learning (via professional experience, certificate programs, or successful completion of an in-house skills test).

- Experience working in Linux environments and with Docker containerization.

- Proficiency with Python and libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.

- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

- English language fluency, verbal and written.

- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
