About This Job

The Domain-Driven Data Product Developer

leads the design and deployment of scalable data products using Informatica MDM/IDQ, Java-based services, and Databricks. This role focuses on domain-driven design and modern data architecture to support strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Domain-Driven Design: Architect scalable, domain-specific data products using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

Informatica MDM: Lead MDM solution design and deployment; manage data models and ensure governance compliance.
Informatica IDQ: Implement data quality frameworks, validation, and profiling strategies to maintain data integrity.
Data Architecture: Build high-volume data pipelines with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and Delta Lake; manage scalable environments.
Java Development: Develop and optimize backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and advanced performance techniques.
Emerging Technologies: Evaluate and prototype new data tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor developers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and resolve complex issues.
Documentation: Produce clear technical documentation and communicate architecture effectively to stakeholders.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


Experience:

+ 8+ years in data engineering, Master Data Management (MDM), or related roles + 5+ years in enterprise-levele Java development with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs + Strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM/IDQ, Databricks, advanced modeling tools (CA Erwin, Embarcaderos ER Studio), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Apache Spark/Kafka ecosystems


Technical Proficiencies

+ Deep expertise in Java frameworks including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Data. + Advanced proficiency in Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Kafka, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). + Strong experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). + Extensive experience designing enterprise-level data models and data pipelines, including performance tuning and optimization. + Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL, PL/SQL, UML, XML, and related technologies.


Desirable Skills:

+ Familiarity with Data Vault modeling methodologies and data virtualization. + Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting, Oracle databases, and ETL scheduling tools (SSIS, MDS, JAMS, Rundeck, Control-M). + Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proven track record of delivering effective solutions. + Expertise in B2B data implementations, understanding complex business systems and industry-specific data requirements.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors. Compensation Range: $130,000 - 185,000 annually Benefits
