Takhar Transportation is a fuel hauler dedicated to delivering reliable, high-quality fuel products to our customers. We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team and support our administrative team and help maintain the accuracy of our data management systems. In this role, you will help manage critical data, from inventory levels to customer orders, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with industry regulations.
Job Description:
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our data records are accurate, up-to-date, and organized. You will be responsible for entering a high volume of data into our databases, managing inventory records, processing orders, and assisting with general administrative tasks within the fuel wholesaling operation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute directly to the smooth operation of day-to-day business.
Key Responsibilities:
•Accurately input and update data into company systems (inventory, orders, customer details, and transactions).
•Verify the accuracy of data entered and ensure consistency across systems.
•Process and track fuel delivery orders, ensuring all relevant information is correctly captured.
•Assist with inventory management, including stock levels and order tracking.
•Generate and maintain reports related to deliveries, orders, and fuel inventory.
•Support the team with administrative tasks, including filing and document management.
•Coordinate with other departments to resolve any data discrepancies or errors.
•Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding data privacy and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in data management or administrative support is a plus.
•Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles; experience in the fuel wholesaling or logistics industry is a strong advantage.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with data management software.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
