Primary Purpose
The purpose of this specialized position is to provide program coordination for PECO’s Data Analytics Career Pathway Apprenticeship. This includes the design, development and implementation of a pilot program, which includes mentoring participants in business intelligence, data analytics and digital solutions (reporting, dashboards and data visualization, advanced analytics, and workflow automation). The position requires project management and technical skills and will primarily use Power BI, SQL, Python and MS Azure to develop automated data-analytical reports and workflows on company-wide data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and enable data-driven decision making for our business partners. The purpose of this role is to also enable business partners across PECO by developing and embedding data analytics solutions in business processes to solve data and analytics-related challenges. The position will understand Exelon's applications, platforms and databases, which serve as data sources, including the associated risks and controls. Individual will support other business initiatives and will be responsible for expressing opinions and providing insight on the adequacy and effectiveness of the analytic’s environment while identifying and communicating continuous improvement opportunities to business partners.
Primary Duties
- Collaborate in the design, development and implementation of PECO’s Data Analytics Career Pathway Apprenticeship providing program coordination and mentoring to apprentices.Enable a high performing learning organization.
- Support other E&MS and business initiatives to continuously improve internal processes, whichincludes developing and embedding data analytics solutions in business processes to solve data and analytics-related challenges. Create business intelligence, data analytics and digital technology solutions to support business enablement activities. Includes the preparation and delivery of dashboards and data visualization summaries to data requests from internal stakeholder groups that require analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques. and informed insights on the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes.
- Management and administration of PECO’s Azure data analytics platform and analytical tools which houses data from across Exelon for detailed analysis.

Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Social Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems/Technology, Business, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or related subject area
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort querying, interpreting and visualizing data from a variety of different sources to create a cohesive story
- Proficient user skills in Excel
- Experience in SQL
- Experience with data exploration, data visualization, data preparation, report design and delivery using Power BI/Tableau or other business intelligence tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- High standards for customer service and the ability to build effective working relationships
- Proficient user skills in Power Query, Power Pivot
- Experience developing Power BI Dashboards,
- Experience in project coordination
- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $64,800.00/Yr. – $89,100.00/Yr.
