FTI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analysis Manager to lead a team of talented Data Analysts. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, driving impactful data-driven decisions, and ensuring the successful execution of key analytical projects. You will not only lead and mentor your team but also be a hands-on contributor, diving into data to provide insights and support as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of data professionals (2+ years preferred).
•Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
•Proficiency in at least one data analysis programming language (Python or R preferred).
•Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
•Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for data and uncovering insights.
•Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, GCP, Databricks) a plus.
•Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes a plus.
•Experience in construction and/or manufacturing industries a plus.
•Demonstrated proficiency in AI techniques such as Machine Learning, GenAI, Natural Language Processing, and others a plus.
Travel: 5-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development (40):
•Manage, mentor, and develop a team of up to four Data Analysts.
•Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
•Provide guidance and support on analytical techniques, project planning, and problem-solving.
•Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
•Identify and recommend professional development opportunities for team members.
Strategic Data Projects (40):
•Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic data analysis projects that align with business objectives.
•Partner with stakeholders across different departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical projects.
•Define project scope, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
•Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
•Ensure the accuracy, validity, and reliability of all data analysis and reporting.
Hands-on Data Analysis (20):
•Perform in-depth data analysis to support team projects and ad-hoc requests.
•Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor key metrics.
•Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
•Utilize various data analysis techniques and tools (SQL, Python, R, business intelligence platforms, etc.).
•Troubleshoot data quality issues and work to improve data integrity.
•Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
