Seeking a full-time Cyber Security Specialist to enhance SaskPower's cyber security posture. The role involves implementing and monitoring security controls across both on-prem and cloud environments. You'll ensure compliance with industry security frameworks while proactively mitigating cybersecurity risks.
Mandatory Qualifications
•University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent experience
•5+ years of hands-on experience in IT security or cybersecurity operations
•Experience with Microsoft Azure, Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, and Tenable One
•Proficiency in PowerShell, JSON, KQL, Logic Apps
•Familiar with NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, CSA standards
•Skilled in incident response and forensic analysis
•Eligible for Government of Canada Level II (Secret) Security Clearance
Desired Certifications (Assets)
•CISSP, CISM, GIAC (SANS), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
