MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is the first line of defense for cyber security events that occur in the SPR environment, including: · Continuously monitoring the SPR computing environment · Reviewing daily checklist(s) for anomalies and abnormal incidents. · Assisting with configuring, monitoring, and maintaining endpoint security in compliance with existing MOC and DOE regulations. · Performing first round of triage on events detected or reported · Work with SPR organization as well as end users, performing as a primary point of contact with Cyber Security. · Create documentation (process, procedures, policies, incidents analysis as required. · Completes or assists with completion of milestones, customer requests, and data calls as required. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Review proposed changes to the SPR information system environment via configuration and change management processes and perform risk analyses to ensure that all associated risk is sufficiently mitigated · Effectively coordinate and assist other Cyber Security team members as well as subject matter experts from other departments to resolve SPR Data Systems issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: HS Diploma and One to two years’ experience with complex computing environments. Some technical knowledge of and experience with information systems and cyber security systems Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. DESIRED: Four-Year College Degree, preferably in information technology .
