We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

The CX Research and Design Consultant will research, investigate, prototype, test, and ideate and design customer’s interactions with Dominion Energy across various channels. They will make recommendations aligned with business and customer outcomes and partner with several teams including Customer Experience Strategy, Data Insights, and Technology to enhance customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate has a human-centered lens and is naturally curious, always asking ‘why’. They are keen to uncover what drives human action and behavior and are able to help design interactions that are intuitive and effortless. They are well-versed in human-centered research methods, persona and customer journey mapping, experience design, interface, and interaction design.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

8+ years of experience in experience design, experience research, interaction design, interface design, project management, or related roles.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor’s

Preferred Discipline(s): Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field.
