Position Description


The Customer Success Manager (CSM) reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and plays a critical role in fostering long-term customer relationships. As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Trimark’s key clients, the CSM is responsible for ensuring the ongoing success and satisfaction of customers leveraging our SCADA, metering, and energy management solutions. This role focuses on maximizing customer value, driving retention, and enhancing satisfaction by proactively managing relationships, addressing challenges, and championing customer needs across internal teams. The CSM will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and technical support teams to ensure that our clients’ utility-scale PV and BESS projects operate seamlessly, efficiently, and in alignment with their strategic objectives.



Primary Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted advisor and strategic partner for assigned customers, developing a deep understanding of their operational goals and technical environments.
Guide customers through onboarding, training, and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of Trimark’s SCADA and data management platforms.
Monitor and proactively engage customers to ensure continued satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments (Engineering, Product, Support) to advocate for product enhancements and resolve escalated issues.
Lead recurring customer check-ins and reviews to provide insights
Support contract renewals, upselling opportunities, and expansion by identifying and communicating customer needs and opportunities.
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback that can enhance system functionality and user experience.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trimark’s solutions, grid requirements (e.g., CAISO), and industry’s best practices.



Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Trimark Associates’ mission, goals, and organizational structure, or demonstrate the ability to quickly become familiar upon joining the team.
A minimum of three years of experience in customer success, technical account management, or project management is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within the energy, renewables, or SCADA sectors.
A bachelor’s degree in communications, engineering, business, energy management, or a related field is expected; however, candidates with equivalent professional experience and demonstrated expertise will also be considered.
Success in this role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
The candidate must have a proven track record of managing and strengthening customer relationships, driving satisfaction, and delivering high-quality support.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, along with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, are essential.


Physical, Mental & Emotional Requirements


Employees may be required to sit for long periods of time using a keyboard and monitor display, travel to other locations, lift up to 20lbs, and push/pull up to 50lbs. Must be able to organize and prioritize work in accordance with deadlines, adapt behavior and work methods in response to changing conditions or challenges. Employees will be involved with sustained activity required for analysis, reasoning, and problem solving. Must be able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships, recognize emotionally charged issues and respond appropriately, act with professionalism, and work both independently and collaboratively. Must be able to proactively encourage a work environment that encourages innovation and creative solutions and be able to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the company and outside partners.



Work Environment


Most work will be performed in a professional, climate-controlled office setting, with occasional minor fluctuations in temperature. Employees will typically work at an assigned desk under standard office lighting. Travel will be required to client sites, industry events, and trade shows, where the Customer Success Manager will represent Trimark and engage in on-site customer success activities. Travel will be conducted using a company-provided vehicle when necessary.
