will be the primary point of contact for our clients, provide timely and support in response to inquiries about products, services, prices, schedules, and deliveries. The CSR will receive, review, and process customer orders and ensure timely shipment and delivery of all orders. This position is in The Woodlands, Texas on-site daily and will report to the Director of Customer Service.
- Communicate effectively with Customers, Internal Teams and/or Freight Carriers.
- Acknowledge and assist customers in a timely manner.
- Complete Order Process from initial receipt through order shipment and delivery, using a defined process.
- Process customer orders efficiently, in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
- Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
- Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
- Logistics management of orders, to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Identify carriers, manage performance, and negotiate rates through reporting and other available tools.
- Tender and monitor orders to carriers and/or brokers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Account maintenance to include regular updates of contact information, ship to requirements, etc.
- Build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
- Report changes in order patterns or lost/canceled orders due to pricing to sales team to retain customers and/or seek alternatives.- Minimum five (5) + years’ experience, preferably within a chemical or related manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in CRM and/or ERP System, experience with Salesforce and Datacor is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail, processing a sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.

- High School Diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
