Job Summary
Dakota Granite is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and supporting sales operations to ensure excellent service.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person
- Address customer inquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction
- Prepare accurate quotes for customers
- Enter and process orders efficiently to ensure timely production and delivery
- Verify order details for accuracy and follow up as needed
- Assist the sales team with documentation, customer follow-ups, and data entry
- Willingness to upsell and cross sell other product lines
- Maintain and update customer records
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Work with production, logistics, and sales teams to resolve customer issues
- Troubleshoot order discrepancies and find solutions for customer concerns
- Communicate delays or changes to customers and provide alternative solutions when necessary- 2+ years of customer service, sales support or order processing experience
- Experience in dimensional stone, landscape products, or a similar industry preferred
- Epicor knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
