Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key in creating a positive shopping experience.
Duties
•
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
•
Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
•
Process sales using Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
•
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.
•
Provide assistance in restocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
•
Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate till balances at the end of shifts.
•
Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution.
Experience
•
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
•
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
•
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
•
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
