We are looking for a sales support specialist to provide customer support by assisting with sales procedures. They will help with sales-related problems, entering new orders, tracking orders, investigating shipping issues and managing customer accounts.

We are looking for a sales support specialist to provide customer support by assisting with sales procedures. They will help with sales-related problems, entering new orders, tracking orders, investigating shipping issues and managing customer accounts.
- Answer potential customers’ questions including sending additional information per email.
- Create and process orders in a timely manner, process requests for rush orders, and review pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain contact with salesmen regarding customer orders, quotes, inventory, or any other on-the-road needs they may have.
- Manage customer and vendor accounts, following up with each to provide troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
- Communicate with vendors about direct orders placed for customers – pricing and availability, and discounts.
- Work with Logistics on customer freight quotes for quoting and ordering purposes, as well as contacting freight carriers to arrange pick-ups for customers’ orders.
- Work with Purchasing to avoid stock outs and to ensure material is available from warehouses. Watch customer usage and alert Purchasing if it spikes. Work with Inventory Control to clear up inventory or sell contract issues.
- Execute return authorizations; ensure seamless communication with customer, warehouse, billing, and Accounts Receivable to confirm that all involved understand why the order is being returned and how to follow through with paperwork. File customer complaint with ISO if necessary.
- Understand which products are used for different applications and understand technical questions to be able to answer customer requests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail.
- Ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
