CUSTODIAL-JANITORIAL WORKER

Locally owned Janitorial Service looking for experienced Janitorial Worker, Must have a current DRIVERS LICENCE and be able to pass a BACKGROUND CHECK. This is a full time 40 hour per week job Monday-Friday. Evening shift 4pm-12am.

- Perform general janitorial duties, including cleaning and maintaining designated areas

- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including restrooms, offices, and common areas

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces

- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed

- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of waste materials

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Skills:

- Experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness

- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
