Job Summary:

This position is responsible for cutting and flattening crush samples to verify the quality of the weld as well as cropping any pipe with visible defects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Cut off pipe for Crusher Test as required.

- Report results of Crush Test to Quality Control, Mill Operator, Team Leader and Supervisor.

- Cut out open seam, bad OD and ID and any other defects in the pipe.

- Change saw blades as needed.

- Record length of scrap cut.

- Assist all mill changes.

- Inform manager of any problems with equipment or product.

- Assist Maintenance with minor repairs.

Education: High School or equivalent Years of Experience: 1+ year experience in manufacturing environment.
