Crew Lead-Commercial Ironwork

Pro Fab Rigging and Welding is looking for a Full-time Crew Lead with commercial ironwork experience to join our team for commercial construction work in the Greater-Austin area.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual that has 5 years minimum of supervisory welding experience. Pay starts at $25.00 per hour and negotiable with experience.

Job available to current Greater-Austin area residents only. No relocation.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions of Position:

- Train and supervise welding employees

- Plan daily work schedules, track project progress, and manage resource allocation

- Problem solves on site issues and makes decisions to prevent project delays

- Communicate and collaborate with Human Resources Director

- Conducts annual evaluations of team members

- Train new team members on operational protocols and safety procedures

- Inspect work progress to verify that specifications are met

- Maintain a positive attitude when working with customers

- Ability to read and understand structural drawings

- Operate equipment such as forklift, sky track and skid steer

- Monitor Inventory

- Manages company vehicle maintenance and upkeep

- General Clean-up and organization of workspace

- Must be a team player and leader

- Valid Driver’s License required- for operation of company vehicle from shop to jobsite locations

- Drug-testing required for employment

Working Hours:

7:00 AM-3:30 PM Monday-Friday with the opportunity for Overtime as specified
