The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the water utility maintenance team. This role requires hands-on experience in fieldwork, including excavation, plumbing, and pump maintenance. The Supervisor serve as the point of contact for operational issues in the field.
Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to support water line repairs, installations, and emergency response.
Perform plumbing repairs, pipe fitting, pump maintenance, and other utility-related tasks.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and equipment inspections.
Assist in training and mentoring team members to develop skills and promote safe work practices.
Respond to emergency water utility issues, including after-hours as needed.
Collaborate with management to plan projects, estimate costs, and recommend improvements.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating excavators in utility, construction, or maintenance settings.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience, preferably within a utility or construction environment.
Knowledge of water distribution systems, repair techniques, and utility maintenance procedures.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to after-hours emergencies.
