Crane Rigger

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigger with a CDL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in O&G Construction, experience hauling heavy equipment and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. As a Rigger & CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials on and to construction sites, ensuring that all operations comply with safety standards.

Duties

- Set up and operate rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads such as machinery, structural components, and materials.

- Must be able to load and unload equipment - Chaining and unchaining, etc.

- Collaborate with crane operators and other team members to ensure proper lifting techniques and safety protocols are followed.

- Inspect rigging equipment for wear or damage before use and perform routine maintenance as necessary.

- Utilize various heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to facilitate construction tasks.

- Operate concrete mixers and other machinery as required for specific projects.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site.

- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a construction site environment is essential.

- Class A CDL

- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is required.

- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as front loader trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and farm machinery is preferred.

- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and various types of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes is highly desirable.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
