Crane Operator with CDL

About This Job

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator with CDL Holder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating cranes, have a CDL and experienced in other lifting equipment in a variety of environments, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Operate All Terrain cranes, Rough Terrains, Crawlers and lifting equipment in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

•

Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper working conditions.

•

Lift, move, and place materials and equipment as directed by supervisors or job site requirements.

•

Collaborate with ground crew and other team members to coordinate movements and ensure safety.

•

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.

•

Maintain accurate records of operations, including logs and inspection reports.

•

Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

•

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

•

MUST HOLD A CDL LICENSE – Please don’t not apply if you DO NOT HOLD A CDL LICENSE

•

Valid crane operator certification and/or license (e.g., NCCCO, OSHA) is required.

•

Proven experience operating cranes and lifting equipment in various settings (e.g., construction, manufacturing).

•

Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.

•

Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and safety manuals.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.

Education and Experience:

•

High school diploma or equivalent.

•

Minimum 10 years of experience as a crane operator or in a similar role.

•

Additional certifications or specialized training is a plus.

Work Environment:

•

The role involves working outdoors and may require exposure to various weather conditions.

•

The position may require working at heights and in confined spaces.

•

Physical demands include lifting, standing, and operating machinery for extended periods.
