Position Summary:
MPC’s Mandan Refinery located in Mandan, North Dakota is seeking a maintenance craft worker who specializes in analyzer maintenance. This position will specialize in analyzer work conducting routine monitoring and maintenance to provide the highest possible on-stream availability of all analyzer systems. Craft workers will achieve high standards through pro-active maintenance, adherence to established procedures and best practices, development to the ability to anticipate problems in advance and respond to problems quickly, and adaptation of a culture of continuing improvement.
This position will also perform general plant maintenance as needed and reports to the Instrument & Analyzer Supervisor on a four on – four off, 12-hour day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:* Receive instructions, work orders and safe work permits for the troubleshooting, repair, calibration, replacement or overhaul requirements of analyzers, probes, and sensors.Education and Experience:* Associates degree or certification in analyzer technology, instrumentation, industrial control/automation, or related technical discipline required.
Skills:* Must be proficient in the use of hand tools, computerized maintenance systems, analyzer specific software, communicators, and calibration equipment.
Pay and Benefits: Employees with analyzer work experience who are qualified can start at $37.92 - $43.97. The maximum rate for the position is $52.11 with demonstrated qualification/proficiency after being hired. Annual increases are scheduled.* Annual Bonus Program
