ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a hands-on, results driven Corporate Marketing and Communications Coordinator to fill a 15-month contract ending January 2027. Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, the Corporate Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company’s brands, products, services, and overall brand health, in accordance with the corporate strategic priorities and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

- Support the execution of all marketing plans, strategies, and activities for McDougall Energy Inc. and Group of Companies portfolio.

- Ensure brand integrity in all aspects as the supporting corporate brand expert.

- Work cross-functionally to support brand planning, marketing campaigns and activities, sales materials, and timeline management to achieve strategic priorities and objectives.

- Support the ideation, development, and execution of creative multi-channel B2B and B2C marketing campaigns.

- Support the overall digital marketing strategy, monitoring and execution, including content of the Company’s digital platforms, including intranet, website(s), and social media channels.

- Analyzing, approving and executing events, tradeshows and community investments activities inclusive of managing a calendar of marketing activities.

- Support the management and execution of the Community Investment program.

- Manage donations, sponsorships, and events, including vetting opportunities, building execution plans, successful execution, and post-mortems.

- Manage 3rd party agencies, vendors, print suppliers, etc. in the support of briefing, proofing, producing, and executing campaign and promotional material.

- Contribute to the development of competitor and customer insights analysis.

ABOUT YOU:

- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in progressive marketing, communications, brand management, or equivalent.

- Post-secondary University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations or related field.

- Proactive team player with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering a superior customer experience.

- Strong project management and time management skills to meet deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

- Experience supporting a brand(s) across multiple market segments.

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with external and internal parties.

- Experience with social media and graphic design tools considered an asset.
