As Corporate Development Analyst III, you'll assist with the evaluation and valuation of prospective investment opportunities in and outside of Williams' existing portfolio. You will work on a team of hard-working problem solvers, bringing solutions to sophisticated business challenges. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Manages and leads financial modeling and valuation in the evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, major capital projects and commercial contracting with the goal of proposing innovative solutions and structures to improve value
- Supports the entirety of the merger and acquisition, capital investment, and commercial negotiation process including strategy, opportunity identification, due diligence, deal structuring, execution, and integration
- Assists in formal deal due diligence by reviewing and analyzing company and investment information
- Assesses the competitive landscape, trends, strategic fit, sources of commonalities and potential risks of an investment
- Presents recommendations and proposals to senior leadership and external parties related to prospective transactions and investments
- Conducts research and analysis regarding new growth opportunities
- Mentors, trains, and develops other team members with a focus on promoting team culture and creating an atmosphere of teamwork and trust

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field and minimum six (6) years’ related experience
- Preferred: Master's degree and minimum eight (8) years' related experience
- Preferred: Experience in energy industry
- Preferred: Experience leading economic valuation modeling for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital projects
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to utilize Excel models for valuation, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and accretion/dilution
- Strong finance skills with a solid understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and a statement of cash flows
- General understanding of the oil and natural gas industry
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Working knowledge of financial calculations and statements, GAAP, NPV, IRR, etc.
- Preferred: Experience leading economic valuation modeling for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, expansions, and greenfield projects identifying, assessing and quantifying risks inherent in a transaction
- Preferred: Experience conducting financial modeling/valuation analysis, including DCF (discounted cash flow), trading comps, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution, value creation analysis, three-statement models and combined pro-forma models
- Preferred: Demonstrates ability to produce high-quality materials such as memorandums, presentations and board materials
- Preferred: Experience conducting market research and analyzing general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's corporate development strategies and operations
- Preferred: Experience in oil & gas, energy, or midstream
, Assist in the evaluation and execution of various strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, capital projects and commercial contracting. Responsibilities include: participating in the evaluation and valuation of prospective investment opportunities in and outside of Williams’ existing portfolio, developing strategic and financial rationale for investment alternatives including how each fits into Williams’ corporate strategy, conducting financial and investment due diligence, assisting in deal execution and post-acquisition integration and providing Williams’ Leadership with financial valuations, findings and recommendations of investment alternatives.
