Overview:
Systems Technologies leads the industry in developing, manufacturing and marketing affordable wireless nurse call and emergency call systems for healthcare and life safety applications.
We’re seeking an accomplished Controller to join our team. As the company’s controller, you will be responsible for handling all daily financial transactions with precision, efficiency, and timeliness. You will also play an important role in administering the company’s HR policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and demonstrate a keen ability to use professionalism and discretion when tackling sensitive HR matters.

Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
Record accounts payable transactions
Process weekly check run
Cash management
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare biweekly payroll for outsourced processor
Process payroll retirement account deferrals and company matches
Maintain and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts
Prepare monthly sales tax reports for outsourced processor
Prepare month-end and year-end reports
Process annual 1099 reports
Prepare annual retirement account deferral report for TPA
Fulfill year-end regulatory reporting requests as needed
Maintain vendor files
Perform other accounting functions as necessary
HR Administration
Assist with team member recruitment, onboarding, and terminations
Maintain HR files
Administer company benefits
Provide input and administer HR policy
Ensure local, state, and federal regulatory compliance
Fulfill year-end regulatory reporting requests as needed
Perform other HR functions as necessary
Experience and Skills:
Previous full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
Working knowledge of accounting and ERP systems
Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements
Experience with Microsoft applications, such as Excel
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and efficient time management
