Job Description:
As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial systems and processes, particularly focusing on large-scale payroll operations and strategic financial planning. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding financial decisions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:
•Oversee the financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and reports.
•Manage and optimize large payroll processes for contingent labor, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
•Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
•Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash requirements.
•Liaise with financial institutions and manage relationships with banks and other financial partners.
•Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory financial requirements.
•Analyze financial data, monitor financial performance, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
•Collaborate with senior management to optimize financial strategies and improve profitability.
•Provide leadership and support during audits and manage the audit process with external auditors.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a Controller, preferably in a staffing or related industry, with significant experience managing large-scale payrolls.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.
•Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
•Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
•Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.
