Contract Financial Analyst-Accountant

Location: Lafayette, LA (On-site) Contract Length: 4–6 months Compensation: $30–$50/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Contract Financial Analyst-Accountant to support our Controller and executive leadership team during a critical transition period. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong accounting experience and familiarity with financial systems.

- Assist the Controller in preparing monthly financial reporting packages

- Respond to audit inquiries (sales tax, asset-based lending, and year-end audits)

- Review and analyze monthly P&L statements

- Support the preparation of 13-week cash forecasts and bank borrowing base certificates

- Provide ad hoc financial support to the CEO and CFO

- Assist in the transition from Great Plains to Microsoft Dynamics

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with Great Plains

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

- CPA certification (preferred)
