9-12 month contract

The Contract - Field Engineer

works closely with the local Project Manager, Lead Field Engineer, and account teams to assist in all aspects of deploying and supporting Itron network hardware and related systems. Candidate must have the ability to work independently, troubleshoot IPv4 and IPv6 network problems, remediate radio frequency (RF) link issues, and complete site surveys and coverage tests.

Travel:

Daily travel within the province of New Brunswick. Overnight travel will be required, at times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium-sized components. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and the ability to lift weight or exert force up to 50 pounds. This is a safety-sensitive role.
