Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized CDL Driver to support our construction teams by efficiently picking up and delivering various pipe related tools, equipment, and building materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, excellent time management skills, and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
•Pick up materials, supplies, and tools from vendors, warehouses, and suppliers as directed.
•Deliver items promptly to job sites across the Northern Virginia Area
•Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely deliveries.
•Safely load and unload materials and secure them for transport.
•Keep accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and mileage.
•Perform routine vehicle inspections and notify management of any issues.
•Assist with small on-site tasks or errands when needed.
•Follow all safety and traffic regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
•Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Prior experience in construction, delivery, or logistics is a plus.
•Knowledge of Pipe installation parts and tools
•Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
•Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
•Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using GPS and communication apps.
