Bridge Brothers is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the successful execution of bridge construction projects across multiple job sites. This role will focus on field coordination, civil work oversight, and managing day-to-day construction activities while ensuring alignment with engineering drawings, safety protocols, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate brings experience in civil construction, reads and interprets blueprints with confidence, and can both manage teams and mentor less experienced team members. This is a boots-on-the-ground role requiring travel, leadership presence, and strong communication skills—including the ability to have direct, solutions-focused conversations with field crews, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage all on-site activities related to bridge construction, including civil work, foundations, structural assembly, and site safety
- Interpret and implement engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and logistics teams to ensure project readiness prior to mobilization
- Monitor project progress against key milestones, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines
Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company protocols Troubleshoot field issues, escalate appropriately, and implement solutions in real time
- Represent the company in daily interactions with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients as needed
- Hold and lead job site meetings; communicate progress, issues, and updates to internal PMs and other stakeholders
- Proactively address conflicts, scope issues, or delays through direct, constructive conversations
- Provide regular site updates, including photos, progress notes, and incident reports
- Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to ensure alignment with project timelines
- Track site activities, material usage, and manpower; maintain accurate daily logs
- Submit documentation related to inspections, field changes, RFIs, and redlines
- Assist in close-out activities including punch lists, as-built drawings, and client walkthroughs
- 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in civil or structural projects
Proven field leadership experience with ability to manage crews and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of civil work, site prep, grading, concrete, and structural steel installation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings with precision Comfortable having direct, clear, and respectful conversations with diverse teams Willingness and ability to travel to job sites as needed (primarily across the Southeast) Capable of training, mentoring, and setting a professional example for junior teammates
- Proficient with basic construction documentation and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Excel, mobile apps)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (occasional weekend or evening work may be required)
- Location: Based in Pickens, SC with travel to active job sites
