Since 2009, Metal Solutions has been in the business of steel design and construction. What started as a passion project, building carports and sheds out of steel, grew into something so much greater.
Today, Metal Solutions designs and constructs steel buildings for commercial and residential purposes. Some of our recent work includes offices, car dealerships, grocery stores, hotels, schools, and warehouses. We primarily service West Texas but travel all over the state for projects.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist senior project leadership in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
•Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
•Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
•Support site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
•Help manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
•Attend project meetings and take detailed notes for distribution.
•Identify and escalate potential issues or delays to senior management.
•Assist with procurement and cost tracking.
Qualifications:
•1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination preferred.
•Familiarity with construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Primavera) is a plus.
•Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
•OSHA certification or knowledge of construction safety standards.
•Basic understanding of reading blueprints and technical drawings.
•Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
