Construction Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Avenue Construction is a locally-owned commercial general contractor in the Nashville area. We are currently seeking a Project Manager who can help run our Multi-Family jobs. We are looking for a dedicated project manager with experience working on commercial and multi-family construction projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-reviewing and communicating about plans

-estimating for materials and scope of project

-requesting bids from subcontractors and awarding work to subcontractors

-maintaining schedules and budgets

-visiting sites to monitor construction activities

-communicating between owner, architect, engineer, and superintendent

-managing Permits, U&Os as well as project closeout paperwork

The project manager is ultimately responsible for the successful completion of the building process. He or she should be able to guide the project, communicate with the parties involved, and manage unforeseen situations and issues that arise.

Desired skills and qualifications:

-5 years of commercial construction and management experienced required

-Familiar with technical drawings systems and planning & reporting systems.

-Demonstrated ability to manage budget, schedule, people, and quality of work.

-Planning and Scheduling - Understands resources, requirements, time constraints and cost, logically sequence work and estimate time to completion, populates schedule with resource and cost, sets goals, adjusts for unexpected events or conditions, tracks and updates.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
