Project Manager-Civil Infrastructure (On-Site)

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager works closely with the project team and leads to help deliver construction projects efficiently on time and on budget. The incumbent is responsible for project management activities related to multiple projects as well as safety and quality control for Teraflex clients and stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
•Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget
•Coordinate and oversee multiple projects at a time
•Coordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects
•Visit sites regularly to initiate projects, track progress, and solve site challenges
•Proactively track and analyze projects performance and bring forward any challenges, risks, or deficits
•Liaison with approval authorities (ie. ESA, Municipalities, Utilities, etc) for securing permits and approvals
•Work with the Director of Operations on resource planning, availability, and allocation according to project schedules and requirements
•Create, track, and maintain comprehensive project documentation (ex. contracts, etc.)
•Perform safety and quality assurance inspections and audits
•Operate with an innovative and continuous improvement mindset to maximize efficiencies and processes
•Demonstrate a customer centric approach with internal and external stakeholders
•Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Required Skills/Qualifications and Experience:
•Education in Engineering, Project Management, Construction or equivalent work experience
•3-5 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in the construction industry
•Additional assets include:
+ CAPM or PMP certification
+ Understanding of construction in utilities
+ Electrical background
+ Bilingualism
