Role Specific Items
Responsibilities
•
Manage aspects of all phases of the project life cycle including: preconstruction, estimating, project management, and project close out.
•
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project matters.
•
Organize and lead regular project meetings in conjunction with the site superintendent
•
Client interaction and relationship management
•
Preconstruction services including site visits, estimating, proposal delivery, project management, project closeout, etc.
•
Building the schedule and working hand in hand with the site superintendent to continually update the schedule and establish two to three week look ahead schedules that aid in helping reconfigure the master schedule.
•
Building relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and owners
•
Cost control and budget management throughout the course of a project
•
Set project timeline
•
Monitor project deliverables
•
Both review and issue pay applications
•
Coordinate with owner provided vendors such as FFE, equipment, IT, etc.
•
Communicate regularly with architecture and engineering team
•
Update relevant team members on the project progress
•
Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
•
Work collaboratively with both the field team and office team
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
•
Relevant experience that outweighs the degree is also highly accepted.
•
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
•
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
•
Familiarity with construction and business software such as: Office Suite, scheduling software, project management software, Bluebeam, and financial management software
•
Relationships with clients and vendors is important.
•
Issue resolution and problem solving abilities well documented
•
Strong negotiation skills
•
Experience with safety protocols and preferably OSHA 30 Certified. If you are not we will get you the OSHA 30 certification
•
Experience within commercial construction. The ideal candidate is 5-7+ years of extensive experience.
•
This is an in office position at our new office located in Brentwood, TN
