Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
•Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and timelines.
•Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers while ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.
•Utilize project scheduling tools such as Primavera to develop and maintain project timelines.
•Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
•Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
•Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on-site.
•Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and budgets using tools like ProCore.
•Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
•Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and documentation of any changes or delays.
Requirements
•Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
•Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations (OSHA).
•Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera; familiarity with ProCore is a plus.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
•Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control in all aspects of work.
•Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is preferred but not required.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
