Procurement Specialist /Project Administrator
This position oversees the administration of all construction projects and facilitates the purchase of materials from outside suppliers for all construction projects.
Primary responsibilities include researching key suppliers, negotiating purchase agreements, and ensuring all products and materials meet company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Review plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work.
•Work with the construction/design team to prepare take-offs
•Work with CEO to prepare project estimates
•Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
•When necessary, participate in bid meetings and negotiations.
•Purchase material & track progress based on the Construction Schedule.
•Administrative management of construction documents and implementation of information into Autodesk Build for field coordination
•Work with Client Liaison to:
•Obtain permitting with county for projects.
•Track and call in for all project inspections.
What You Need for this Position:
•Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
•Experience with Autodesk is a plus
•Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Prior experience in residential and commercial construction is a plus.
