All Weather Contractors has an immediate opening for an hourly Construction Job Coordinator in our Property Maintenance Special Projects group. We are a General Contractor specializing in managing all types of renovation, repair, facilities, and property maintenance needs for our multi-family housing customers. This hands-on field Coordinator plays an important role in helping the Project Managers and Superintendents accomplish tasks at various job sites daily in our company vehicle.
Job Duties:
•Meet delivery drivers at job sites to accept materials and supplies (paint, lumber,
fencing, appliances, etc.) for property maintenance jobs and special projects to be completed.
•Purchase materials and supplies as needed directly from Home Depot, Lowe's and other vendors to take directly to a project.
•Represent the company on the initial startup of a project and coordinate the subcontractors coming to the project to get started.
•Represent the company at the close of a project and coordinate with the community
managers to make sure all work was completed timely and correctly. (Quality
Control)
•Assist the field Project Manager and Superintendent in notifying them of potential
issues that need to be corrected or taken care of either before the job begins, during or after work completed.
•Pick up paperwork, permits or blue prints/drawings from the either the corporate office or remote site office and deliver to the job site in the field.
•Work on the laptop commuter to send email correspondence related to the
specifications of the job to subcontractors offices, community job site, Business -
Manager and field Superintendent.
•Design and track field jobs and projects via Excel spreadsheet from the beginning scope of work phase, through the completion quality control phase.
•Work directly with the division Business Manager as a liaison from the field to the
•office to communicate information so job orders can be set up, materials ordered and billing can be completed at the end of the project.
•Visit with apartment community managers to help determine work that needs to be
done as it relates to property maintenance issues, small construction or repair projects around the community, common areas, clubhouses or amenity centers.
•Be available (MF) 7:30am4:30pm to help out in the field in whatever needs the
Superintendent and Project Manager have.
•Eventually be able to help answer questions for subcontractors and give them job
specifications and direction of project details for completion.
Job Qualifications:
•Basic construction knowledge and the ability to travel all day in the company vehicle and meet the needs of the field Superintendent and PM.
•Represent All Weather Contractors in a professional manner and be part of a team.
•Bilingual in Spanish very helpful.
•Able to follow instructions and carry out assignments as discussed.
•Selfmotivated and able to complete assignments in a timely manner.
•Trustworthy individual who works independently.
•Must be highly organized and able to track the duties that go with multiple job sites.
•Ability to set up files and Excel spreadsheets to track progress of duties.
•Physically able to drive, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally as needed.
•Ability to compose and write emails, letters, and correspondence in Outlook or Word
documents to various professional organizations, including insurance companies, employees, department heads, vendors, and body shops.
•Ability to support and get along with all types of people and trades/subs in the field.
•Solid computer and phone skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Outlook email
•Prior experience handling Work Comp claims, OSHA logs, and safety reporting.
•Excellent people and communication skills.

Experience:
Basic construction knowledge/terminology: 4 year (Preferred)
Prior experience in a similar role: 3 years (required)
Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
Microsoft Outlook e-mail: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Current and valid Driver's license (Preferred)
