Construction Project Coordinator
Summary:
DC Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to provide active assistance and oversight for ongoing projects and field operations. This includes managing DC personnel, sub-contractors, vendors, project schedules and budgets as well as having the technical knowledge to ensure a high standard of quality control.

Responsibilities:
•Call customers for purposes of communicating or coordinating project schedules and/or respond to general inquiries in a timely manner.
•Assist with Vendor setup and coordinate to receive all required documents.
•Generate Work Orders and Change Orders upon request from Project Manager.
•Update Invoice Tracking spreadsheet/Payment Applications.
•Code and track invoices and receipts across several projects.
•Organize regular compliance and safety meetings for crew members.
•Maintain job files ensuring all job pertinent reports and documents, including budget worksheets, invoices, project reports, financial, and communications are properly filed.
•Prepare and organize daily reports for Project Manager and clients.
•Document daily updates and prepare meeting materials for client meetings.
•Assist project team with project startup/closeout tasks including office mobilization and demobilization.
•Establish document control and archiving procedure inclusive of all external archive project documents in accordance to DC Construction’s general practices.
•Ensure proper documentation of subcontractor files, subcontracts, and subcontractor change orders, preliminary notices lien waivers, and other project related compliance.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure subcontractors meet project specific compliance requirements including reviewing and maintaining proper insurance and prequalification.
•Work within accounting deadlines to ensure subcontractor and vendor invoices are processed with a high degree of accuracy.
Other Information:
•Experience working on residential, commercial, and public works projects.
•Possess working knowledge of all crafts.
•Excellent ability to read and understand specifications and plans for all trades.
•Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments.
•Proficient use and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
•Knowledge of Building Connected and Autodesk Construction Cloud is a big PLUS.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required, Spanish +)
•Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgement and professionalism when representing the Company.
•Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
•Strong customer service skills.
Qualifications:
•Non-commercial Driver’s License (with ability to drive a pickup truck)
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•1-3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator for either residential, commercial, or similar work.
Compensation: $57,000-$84,000/year (based on experience)
Shift & Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8 hour shift, Overtime, Weekends as needed
