Construction Pricing Estimator (Flooring)

Job description

Seeking an estimator for Commercial Flooring and Ceramic Tile at Business Interiors Floor Covering based in Woburn, MA,10 miles north of Boston with a satellite office in Raynham, MA.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with at least 1 year experience in the commercial flooring industry. Experience with AutoCAD, Callidus, and Measured Square estimating software required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform takeoffs, negotiate pricing with vendors, ensure bids are submitted in a timely fashion, generate accurate proposals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to complete takeoffs and construction scheduling

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Follow established procedures

Willing to meet or exceed demanding deadlines

Ability to work with a team

Organizational skills are a must

Strong people skills, while interacting well with others in the organization

Good communication skills

Ability to interact with owners, architects, consultants, and vendors.

Time management skills
