Construction Office Administrator - Full Job Description:
We are seeking a Construction Administrator that has knowledge and experience in operational aspects of construction projects ensuring efficient project flow and compliance. This candidate will handle tasks like contract monitoring, billing processing, document management, coordination, scheduling, and client communication. This role is a support function to departmental management and embraces overall customer service.
Managing contracts, reviewing subcontracts, and ensuring compliance with terms.
Processing payments, preparing invoices, managing budgets, job costing and analysis and tracking expenses.
Organizing and coordinating project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
Communicating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to keep everyone informed.
Ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
Managing subcontractor relationships, gathering proposals, and ensuring compliance.
Addressing and coordinating issues that may arise with jobs.
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
· Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience with project management software and Microsoft office.
· Knowledge of construction industry processes, codes, and AIA documentation.
· The ability to read structural steel and misc. metals such as rails and stairs blueprints/drawings is a plus.
· Proficient in the use of iPads and Microsoft office PowerPoint / word.
Pay: $20.00 – 35.00 hr. based on experience.
