Job Title: Construction Manager

Position Summary
PVB Fabrications, Inc. (PVB), a direct hire, multi-disciplined industrial construction, and metal fabrication company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead field operations for multiple construction projects in the Tucson area. The ideal candidate will oversee daily jobsite activities, ensuring that all projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes and exceed client expectations.
Project Oversight
•Manage construction efforts from pre-construction through final turnover.
•Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, codes, and safety regulations.
•Oversee contract execution and compliance by all involved parties.
Field Management
•Supervise on-site activities and monitor subcontractor performance.
•Maintain detailed daily site logs and proactively resolve field issues.
•Ensure progress, safety, and quality through ongoing site presence.
Scheduling & Budgeting
•Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with project teams.
•Track project costs, manage change orders, and maintain budget forecasts.
Quality Assurance
•Enforce quality control standards to meet both company and industry requirements.
Safety Leadership
•Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA standards.
•Lead jobsite safety meetings, conduct inspections, and investigate incidents as needed.
Stakeholder Communication
•Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams.
•Provide regular updates on project status and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
Documentation & Reporting
•Maintain complete and accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.
Qualifications
•Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including 3+ years in a superintendent or leadership role.
•CCM or PMP certification preferred.
•Background in industrial, mining, or large-scale infrastructure construction.
•Strong reading and interpretation skills of engineering and architectural drawings.
•Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
