About This Job

WS Design & Build is seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Manager to oversee daily construction operations, coordinate field activities, and ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to our high standards. This role requires strong leadership, field expertise, and a passion for mentoring and developing crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Manage and oversee all daily construction site operations across multiple projects.

•

Ensure the field crew fully understands project plans, timelines, and expectations.

•

Provide hands-on support, guidance, and mentorship to field staff, helping to build skills and ensure quality execution.

•

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams.

•

Monitor progress and adjust schedules and resources as needed to keep projects on track.

•

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

•

Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and safety checks.

•

Communicate effectively with clients, designers, architects, and other stakeholders.

•

Track project documentation, progress reports, and changes.

Qualifications:

•

7+ years of construction experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or site management role.

•

Strong understanding of construction methods, residential and light commercial building systems, and code requirements.

•

Proven ability to lead, teach, and motivate field crews.

•

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

•

Experience with construction scheduling and project management tools (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar).

•

OSHA certification and valid driver’s license required.

•

Personal hand tools required.
