Construction Manager

We are searching for a Construction Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) The person will act as the Owner’s representative to oversee all aspects of plant and facilities construction including interconnect, site work, owner purchased material, safety, startup and commissioning, and project close out. This position is responsible for the overall management of the team and assigned projects, to ensure compliance within required budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The person in this role will coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. The person in this role will manage the engineering, procurement and construction oversight-activities necessary to construct, start-up, and commence commercial operations.

Location: Fremont, California 94539 - On construction site for duration of project.

1 yr contract (W-2)

Pay rate: $79.00/hr.

Reports To:Sr. Project Manager, Engineering and Construction

Preferred Background: Engineering, Construction Management, professional career in construction with past experience in Industrial or power markets. A background in solar construction, electrical, and utilities is preferred.
