We are seeking a motivated Construction Management Supervisor
to support construction activities at one of our uranium mine sites in northern Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Construction Management General Supervisor, this role involves assisting with the successful execution of Industrial construction projects. The position operates on a
fly-in fly-out schedule, with a
two-week rotation.

- Assist the Construction Management General Supervisor in planning and executing site construction activities.
- Assist the Project Management team throughout all phases of the project.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to Orano’s safety policies and ensure compliance with radiation safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in site safety meetings and contribute to a safe work culture.
- Provide technical support for the installation and commissioning of mechanical, and piping systems.
- Collaborate with the Construction Management General Supervisor and engineering teams to resolve on-site challenges.
- Conduct inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Report any deviations or issues to the Construction Management General Supervisor for resolution.
- Maintain clear communication with the Construction Management General Supervisor and other stakeholders.
- Prepare progress updates and contribute to reports as required.

- Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures.

- Red Seal Building Trades Certification with 10+ years’ experience and 5+years in a multi trade supervisory role. Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field will be considered.
- Certifications (e.g., CMP, PMP) considered an asset
- NDE Certifications (e.g., MT, PT, UT, QA, QC) considered an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in mining or heavy industrial projects
- Familiarity with mechanical and piping systems in mining operations is strongly preferred. Civil works considered asset
- In-depth background in large scale industrial constructions works, applicable codes and best practices
- Knowledge of Canadian mining regulations, OHS, and environmental standards
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to remote work environments
- Effective communication skills for coordination and reporting
- McClean Lake site
- 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11-hour workday, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required.
- Requires work in adverse weather conditions in all seasons.

This position will fly in and fly out on Friday
Pick-Up Points:
Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all Safety Sensitive positions. Applicants who have recently used marijuana recreationally may not pass a substance test as marijuana can remain in the user’s system for as many as 30 days after use.
