Performance Competencies & Responsibilities:
General Labor
•
Perform various physical duties as assigned
•
Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials
•
Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training
•
Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
•
Moves items from place to place, according to direction from leadership
•
Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or from supervisor
Time management
•
Stay on task when working on projects with or without supervision
•
Complete assigned tasks with efficiency by or before deadlines given
Communication
•
Receive and following instructions and communicating with co-workers, supervisors and subcontractors
Teamwork
•
Work collaboratively with FCC team members and Subcontractors with differing work/personality styles
Health & Safety Expertise
•
Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and job site organization
•
Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
•
Complete OSHA 10 Certification
•
Understand and maintain Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) guidelines
•
Understand and maintain Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM)
•
Safely operate various vehicles and equipment
Other job-related duties as assigned
